2021 notification of recruitment of OSSC livestock inspectors: The Odisha Subordinate Personnel Selection Commission (OSSSC) posted a notice of recruitment for the position of Group C Livestock Inspector on the official website -osssc.gov.in. OSSSC Livestock Inspector Application Link will be available from 05 August 2021. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the positions via the online mode no later than August 26, 2021.
A total of 565 vacancies are available in the Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Government of Odisha.
After selection, the successful candidates will undergo a 2-year training in breeding, that is to say a theoretical training and a practical training. Upon successful completion of training followed by examination conducted by OUAT, Bhubneshwar, candidates for unconsciousness will be appointed as livestock inspectors in the institution of the respective districts. Pay Band – 1 i.e. Rs. 52.00-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000
Monthly payment – Rs. 9000 / –
Eligibility Criteria for OSSC Livestock Inspector Positions
Qualification for education:
- A candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia
- 10th exam passed with Odia as an exam support in non-linguistic subjects
- Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of class VII or above a school or educational institution recognized by the government of Odisha or the central government
- Passed a test at Odia in ME School Standard conducted by the Department of School and Mass Education

- Written exam
- Physical standard measurement test
